Surrounded by the greenery K.V., EBS Babugarh Cantt., a co-educational school is known & liked for calm & salubrious environs. it is a Senior Secondary School situated far from the dust of the city & was established in 1988. The school offers the most conductive environs to the young ones to communicate with the Mother nature and imbibe her soul strengthening & life sustaining values. Sprawling over 15 acres the school is surrounded on 3 sides by lush green field & in front by N. H. 24.
BRIEF HISTORY
The K.V. are run by the K.V.S., an autonomous body formed by the ministry of Education, Govt. of India, N.D. as a result of the recommendations of the second pay commission. they primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Government Employee including Defence Personnel & Floating Population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Science stream at +2 Level providing opportunity to study English.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
We take a pledge "to strive, to seek and then to succeed" in making K.V.S., E.B.S. a name to reckon with. A 'Miniature India' in itself we try to inculcate in the students feeling of patriotism brotherhood and National Integration. So that at the end of their school life they turn out to be an individual with a well chislled personality ready to work for society locally & Mankind Globally.
The Kendriya Vidyalayas aim at having a common syllabi.
Education is imparted in English & Hindi, thereby stressing on the bilingual proficiency of each child.
The Vidyalaya prepare pupils for AISSE & AISSCE exams conducted by the C.B.S.E., New Delhi.
The quality of education is kept very high by an appropriate teacher-pupil ratio & provision of suitable teachers with high academic qualification.

The Genesis of the KV :The school was started in 1988 in temporary accommodation provided by E.B.S. Babugarh Cantt.

Important Milestones of growth:
As day by day after opening, the school got a lot of achievements, New Secondary Building was constructed in 2002. And Primary Block was constructed in 2005.
10+2 Science stream was started in 2002-03. and Commerce stream was started in 2008-09. In the starting time, only 200 students was studying in the school but now a days total students are approx 860. Total Computers in the Vidyalaya are 56 while it was only two at the time of starting of computer session in the Vidyalaya.

Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present status:
At the starting time, the school was opened in temporary accomodation provided by EBS with one section school till 10th. After that two section school was started with new building. 10+2 Science Stream was started in 2002-03. Commerce stream was started in 2008-09.

Details of previous and new campus:
Old Campus was situated in Equine Breesing Stud, where Campus accommodation was not so good. It was made up with Bareks.
New Building was constructed near Thana, Babugarh Cantt., in 2002. But the building was not sufficient for complete school. After that, Primary Block was constructed in 2005 and the building constructed in 2002 used for Secondary Section.
